Sediment/ Turbidity/ TSS Reduction
APS 700 Floc Logs®, 700 Series Silt Stop®, and Silt Clear® powders are site specific polymers that remove suspended sediments like clay and silt from water. Construction, stormwater, dredging, dewatering, mining, landfills, and any activities that require TSS and turbidity management can benefit from APS products. Using Floc Logs®, Silt Stop®, and Silt Clear® can decrease turbidity and TSS by upwards of 90% in as little as 30 seconds of mixing. Water treatment requires flowing water to dissolve and mix the polymers so they react with suspended clay and silt to form “flocs”. These larger particles or “flocs” can then settle out or be captured.
